Greece Itinerary

Day 1 - Wednesday
December 28
Depart from Charlotte/Douglas International Airport via Lufthansa Airlines / Flight # LH 429.
Day 4 - Saturday
December 31
Depart Athens for Delphi. Stop in Arachova for lunch and spend the afternoon in Delphi with a local guide. Visit an olive grove in Itea for an introduction of Greek olives and olive oil production. Spend the night in Itea at the Hotel Nafsika Palace for New Year's Eve along with dinner!
Day 7 - Tuesday
January 3
Return to Athens. Visit the archaelogical sites of Mycenae and Epidaurus and visit a citrus farm and have lunch there. Enjoy a pottery making class and then stay overnight in Athens and have dinner.
Day 2 - Thursday
December 29
Arrive in Munchen Flughafen and depart on the same airlines, Lufthansa, different flight # - LH 1752. Arrive in Athens and stay overnight in the Hotel Illissos.
Day 5 - Sunday
January 1
Transfer to Nafplion, first capital of Greece. Walk around the old town and have dinner. Stay overnight in Nafplion.
Day 8 - Wednesday
January 4
Saronic Gulf Cruise of Aegina, Poros and Hydra - each island there will be a chance to get off the boat and walk around. Lunch is included on the cruise. Return to Athens and stay overnight.
Day 3 - Friday
December 30
Guided sightseeing in Athens and visit to the Sea Turtle Rescue Center. Stay overnight in Athens again.
Day 6 - Monday
January 2
Visit the archaeological site of Nemea and the museum and stadium nearby. Dinner and overnight in Nafplion.
Day 9 - Thursday
January 5
Travel back home day. Depart Athens International Airport via Lufthansa Airlines / Flight # LH 5917. Connecting flight in Munchen Flughafen via Lufthansa Airlines / Flight # LH 428. Arrive at Charlotte/Douglas International Airport.
